Welcome to my website
As you will see we’ve split the sections up into some of the different parts of my life as I know it. My trusty advisors tell me that it’s too complicated to try to explain the world in which I wander, but I’ve settled on two main parts – broadcaster and musician. That’s complicated enough for most people. But I’ll maybe introduce some of the other parts in due course.

I’ve entitled it ‘A view from the hill’. I hope those of you having entered the hallowed years, will understand the significance. But also, having lived most of my life in the hills above Deeside in Aberdeenshire, I've found that the world often looks a different place from here. I hope you will enjoy the ramblings and the rants – although I’ll try to keep the rants down to a minimum. This tendency seems to come with the years - and long may the tradition continue.
